Job Summary
The Restaurant Waiter/Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and creating a welcoming dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests politely and professionally.
Present menus and explain dishes, beverages, and special offers.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
Serve food and drinks promptly as per restaurant standards.
Ensure tables are properly set before guest arrival.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, cutlery, and service stations.
Assist guests with their requests and resolve basic complaints professionally.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service operations.
Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests.
Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.
Handle billing and payment processes when required.
Support team members during busy hours and events.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Diploma/Certification in Hotel Management is an advantage
Prior experience in restaurant service preferred
Experience
Fresher or 6Months –4 years of experience in restaurants, cafés, or hotels
Working Conditions
Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
Standing for long hours may be required
