About the Role
Tossin Pizza is looking for friendly, energetic Service Staff to join our front-of-house team. You'll be the face of the restaurant greeting guests, taking orders, and making sure every customer has a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm, welcoming attitude

• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system

• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, following order specifications

• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and pairings (including recommending pizza flavors, toppings, and beverages)

• Handle billing, payments, and provide accurate change/receipts

• Maintain cleanliness of tables, seating areas, and service stations

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery

• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate when needed

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

• Assist with opening/closing duties (setup, restocking, cleaning)

Requirements

• Prior experience in a restaurant, café, or fast-food service role preferred (not mandatory for entry-level)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills for handling billing and cash

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Team player with a positive, customer-first attitude

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays/orders

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with POS billing systems

• Basic knowledge of food and hygiene safety standards

• Multilingual ability (helpful for diverse customer base)
