Restaurant Waiter

The Water/Steward is responsible for ensuring a clean, hygienic, and well-maintained dining environment at Momo Delights. This role focuses on providing support to the service team, maintaining table setup, assisting guests with water and basic service needs, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction through prompt and polite service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests politely and assist them in settling at their tables.

• Serve water promptly to all guests and refill as required.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of dining tables, cutlery, crockery, and service stations.

• Support servers and captains with order delivery and table setup.

• Ensure mise-en-place is done before each shift (table arrangements, cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc.).

• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards of the restaurant as per Momo Delights guidelines.

• Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery efficiently.

• Assist in carrying food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff for smooth operations.

• Ensure all serving equipment and crockery are handled carefully to avoid damage.

• Follow safety, grooming, and hygiene protocols strictly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum education: 10th/12th pass or equivalent.

• Prior experience as a Steward/Water in QSR, café, or fine dining preferred (freshers can also apply).

• Good communication skills and polite guest-handling manners.

• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service.

• Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during rush hours.

• Positive attitude, grooming, and discipline are a must.
