Job Title: Waiter / Cafe Steward

Location: Bakebox Cafe, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Overview

We are looking for a vibrant and customer-oriented Waiter/Steward to join the team at Bakebox Cafe. As the face of our cafe, you will ensure every guest has a memorable experience by providing friendly service, expert menu knowledge (especially regarding our continental and bakery items), and a clean dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Greet customers warmly, escort them to tables, and provide menus.

• Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.

• Menu Knowledge: Explain our range of coffees, continental dishes, and bakery specials (including ingredients and allergens).

• Service Delivery: Deliver orders promptly from the kitchen/bakery to the tables with a high standard of presentation.

• Maintenance: Ensure tables are cleared and sanitized quickly after guests leave; maintain general cafe cleanliness.

• Upselling: Recommend pairings (e.g., suggesting a pastry with a latte) to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: 1–2 years in a cafe or restaurant (Freshers with a positive attitude are welcome!).

• Education: 10th pass or above.

• Communication: Fluent in Hindi; basic conversational English is a strong plus.

• Personal Traits: High energy, polite demeanor, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Documentation: Must have a valid Aadhar Card.
