General Manager – Restaurant

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee the full operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will lead the team, deliver outstanding guest experiences, drive profitability, and ensure consistent operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, to ensure smooth, efficient service.

Lead, motivate, train, schedule, and develop the restaurant team; manage performance, conduct reviews, and handle hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Deliver exceptional guest experiences by setting and maintaining high standards of service, hospitality, and food quality; promptly address and resolve customer feedback and complaints.

Manage financial performance: control costs (food, beverage, labor, and overhead), prepare and monitor budgets, analyze P&L statements, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, storage, and waste reduction to maintain optimal stock levels and cost control.

Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, food handling, labor, and licensing regulations; maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility.

Develop and execute local marketing, promotions, and community engagement initiatives to increase awareness, drive foot traffic, and build customer loyalty.

Set operational goals, monitor key performance indicators (sales, labor %, food cost %, guest satisfaction, etc.), and implement continuous improvement plans.

Coordinate with ownership/corporate on strategic initiatives, menu development, pricing, and special events.

Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture that supports team retention and high performance.

Handle administrative duties such as reporting, cash management, vendor relations, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

What We’re Looking For

Proven restaurant management experience (preferably multi-unit or high-volume), strong leadership and financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality

• It is a Full Time Waiter / Steward job for candidates with 2 - 6 years of experience.
