Restaurant Captain

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will lead the service team, maintain service standards, and create a welcoming dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and stewards.

• Ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.

• Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.

• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.

• Train and guide service staff on SOPs and service standards.

• Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall presentation.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for efficient service flow.

• Upsell menu items and promote special offers.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies.

• Prepare daily reports and maintain shift records.

Skills Requirement

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Captain / Head Waiter / Senior Steward.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards.

• Ability to handle high-pressure service environments.

• Basic computer knowledge (POS systems).

• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
