Job Description

Job Title: Captain Steward / Restaurant Captain

Location: Electronic City, Bangalore
Experience Required: 06 months – 5 Years
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 12k to 23k per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Captain Steward to lead the service team and ensure an excellent dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will supervise stewards, maintain service standards, and coordinate with kitchen and management for smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide stewards and service staff during shifts
Ensure high standards of guest service and satisfaction
Take and manage guest orders efficiently
Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service of food and beverages
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas
Train new staff on service standards and SOPs
Monitor table turnover and manage reservations/walk-ins
Ensure proper table setup and presentation standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Captain Steward / Restaurant Captain
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards
Basic understanding of POS systems
