Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead the service team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service operations.
Lead, guide, and motivate stewards and service staff.
Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints effectively.
Maintain service standards, hygiene, and grooming requirements.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth order execution.
Assist in staff training and performance monitoring.
Ensure proper table setup and restaurant readiness before service.
Monitor billing accuracy and support operational efficiency.
Maintain inventory of service equipment and report shortages.
Requirements
1–5 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a restaurant, hotel, or fine-dining establishment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
Knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
Positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Hospitality degree/diploma is an advantage.
Experience in fine dining, premium casual dining, or hotel restaurants preferred.
