The Order Taker is responsible for greeting customers, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient ordering process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections. - Take customer orders clearly and accurately (in person, over the phone, or via online systems). - Enter orders into the POS system promptly and correctly. - Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions. - Communicate special requests, modifications, or allergies to kitchen staff. - Coordinate with servers and kitchen teams to ensure timely food preparation. - Handle payments when required (cash, card, or digital transactions). - Maintain a clean and organized counter or workspace. - Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues to management when needed. - Provide fast, friendly, and professional service at all times. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in customer service or food service is an advantage but not required. - Strong communication and listening skills. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - Basic math and cash-handling abilities. - Comfortable using POS or ordering systems (training provided). - Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude. - Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
