Job Purpose
The Senior Captain is responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service. This role acts as a key link between management and service staff, leading daily floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of captains, stewards, and service staff
• Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations during service hours
• Greet guests, assist with requests, and ensure a positive dining experience
• Monitor service quality and maintain hospitality standards
• Take and confirm guest orders when required
• Resolve guest complaints professionally and promptly
• Train, mentor, and guide junior team members
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams for seamless service
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–6 years of experience in Food & Beverage service
• Prior Captain-level experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality / Hotel Management preferred
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
