Job Summary

We are looking for smart, professional, and service-oriented Banquet Captains to supervise food and beverage service during weddings, parties, corporate events, and other functions at our premium banquet venue. The candidate should have strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage stewards and ensure excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise stewards and service staff during banquet events.

• Ensure proper table setup, cutlery arrangement, buffet setup, and overall service readiness.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team for timely food and beverage service.

• Brief service staff about event requirements, menus, guest arrangements, and service standards.

• Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service to all guests.

• Monitor food presentation, buffet maintenance, and cleanliness throughout the event.

• Handle guest requests and resolve service-related complaints professionally.

• Coordinate with the Banquet Operations Manager to ensure smooth event execution.

• Allocate duties to stewards and monitor their performance and grooming.

• Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other service equipment.

• Maintain hygiene, discipline, and premium hospitality standards at all times.

• Support the team during event setup, service, and closing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in banquet service, hotel service, or fine dining preferred.

• Strong communication and guest-handling skills.

• Good leadership and team-management abilities.

• Knowledge of buffet service, table setup, food service, and banquet etiquette.

• Professional personality with a well-groomed appearance.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage large gatherings.

• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and event hours.
