To supervise stewards on the floor, ensure excellent guest service, maintain table readiness, coordinate order flow, and support smooth shift operations. The role is responsible for implementing PFD service standards on the floor.
A. Guest Service & Dining Experience
· Greet guests, assist with seating, and ensure timely service.
· Take orders accurately, upsell menu items, and explain dishes when required.
· Handle minor guest complaints and escalate major issues to the Floor Manager.
B. Supervision of Stewards
· Allocate tables and sections to stewards.
· Guide stewards on service sequence, grooming, and behaviour.
· Ensure tables are cleaned, reset, and prepared quickly after guest departure.
C. Order Coordination
· Coordinate with the kitchen for timely order dispatch.
· Check food presentation and accuracy before serving.
· Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and FOH team.
D. Billing & Payment Support
· Assist guests with queries related to billing and payment methods.
· Coordinate with cashier for corrections, split bills, or special instructions.
· Ensure orders, discounts, and cancellations are communicated clearly.
E. Hygiene & Table Readiness
· Monitor floor cleanliness, table setup, cutlery readiness, and service equipment.
· Ensure stewarding practices follow PFD hygiene standards.
· Report maintenance issues immediately.
F. Shift Support & Reporting
· Participate in pre-shift briefings and support operational readiness.
· Share updates with Floor Manager on guest feedback, staff performance, and floor issues.
· Assist in maintaining basic shift records if required.
Required Skills & Competencies
