Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain for our outlet. The candidate will be responsible for supervising floor operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of food presentation and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and ensure smooth service.
Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Assist guests with menu selection, especially Indian dishes, and recommend specials.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order service.
Handle guest complaints and ensure quick resolution to maintain satisfaction.
Train, guide, and monitor stewards and service staff.
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and preparation styles.
Collect guest feedback and report to management for improvement.
Requirements:
0–2 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain / Sr. Steward (preferably in Indian cuisine)
Strong knowledge of Indian food (North Indian, Mughlai, Tandoor, etc.)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership and team management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Basic computer knowledge (POS systems)
