Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation.
Wash, peel, chop and cut vegetables and other ingredients.
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations and storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Assist with receiving, arranging and storing food supplies.
Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
Support cooking and serving activities when required.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
Ensure the kitchen is organised and ready for daily operations.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations is preferred.
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or catering kitchen is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
