The Kitchen Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff in daily food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards. This role ensures the kitchen operates efficiently and all cooking areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
Wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients.
Dispose of waste and maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
Help in unloading and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
Support kitchen staff during busy service hours.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations.
Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
Physically fit to handle standing work and lifting moderate weights.
Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
