As a “Kitchen Helper” you will be working along with a dynamic team of culinary enthusiasts. Your major role will be to organize prepare and organize food items. The major job responsibilities involve:
Mise Planning Assistance: Assist in the Mise Planning according to recipes and specifications of the food items.
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and Sanitize kitchen equipment, fruits and vegetables and workstations.
Understanding FIFO, FEFO and MRD: As a kitchen helper, you must have an understanding of FIFO, FEFO and MRD processes.
Receiving and Storing Deliveries: Receive and store deliveries, checking for accuracy in the quantity and quality of the product.
Inventory Organization : Organize store inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation method i.e. FIFO (first-in-first-out) and FEFO (first-expire-first-out).
Assist with Equipment and Deep Cleaning: Assisting the chefs and KST staff in carrying out equipment and deep cleaning processes as per the process laid out.
Quality and Safety: Collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold high standards of quality and presentation.
Recipe and Product Knowledge: Alongside, the kitchen helper will be required to work on the recipe or product knowledge as well.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the kitchen. Follow and adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.
