Job Summary
The Kitchen Helper supports the café kitchen team in preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations. This role is important for keeping the kitchen organized, hygienic, and running efficiently during service hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, washing, and assembling ingredients
• Help in making simple café items like sandwiches, snacks, and beverages
• Keep the kitchen, counters, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized
• Wash dishes, trays, and kitchen tools
• Store ingredients properly and follow food safety standards
• Support chefs and baristas during busy hours
• Take care of waste disposal and cleanliness
• Follow hygiene and safety rules at all times
