The Dandelion - Colonels' Jungle Resort is a 21-room resort on 11 acres near Dandeli, Western Ghats. We host corporate groups, school and college trips, riding groups and family functions, up to 42 guests at a time. We are hiring an F&B Captain to run restaurant and group dining service.
YOUR WORK
Run restaurant, buffet, barbeque and bonfire service for groups up to 42 guests. Table setup, order taking, service and clearing to standard. Supervise and roster 2-3 stewards and helpers, and train new staff. Coordinate with the kitchen on timings, guest counts and special requests. Handle guests and complaints politely, and upsell beverages. Billing and POS entry with daily sales handover. Control crockery, cutlery, glassware and beverage stock, including breakage.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 2 years as Captain or senior Steward in a hotel, resort or good restaurant. Confident spoken Hindi and working English. Willing to live on site at a quiet jungle location, with free room and food provided. Clean, presentable and calm with large groups. Sober habits are a strict requirement and will be verified in reference checks.
WE OFFER
Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 in hand, free accommodation, free meals, weekly off and festival bonus. Candidates from outside Karnataka are welcome and on-site stay is arranged. No fee is charged to candidates at any stage.
SHIFT
Split duty between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, with a rest break in between. 6 days working with one weekly off.
