Cafe Staff

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service

• Greet customers and take orders politely and accurately.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.

• Ensure a pleasant customer experience and handle basic customer queries.

2. Food & Beverage Preparation

• Assist in light cooking, preparation of snacks, and assembling menu items.

• Support barista/cook in preparing beverages and food as per recipes and standards.

• Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times.

3. Cleaning & Maintenance

• Perform daily cleaning of tables, counters, equipment, and floors.

• Conduct deep cleaning as per weekly/monthly schedules.

• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, dining, and storage areas.

• Ensure all utensils and equipment are sanitized properly.

4. Stock & Inventory Support

• Refill ingredients, disposables, and other café supplies.

• Notify the Shift Manager of low stock or maintenance issues.

5. Teamwork & Operations

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations during rush hours.

• Follow shift timings, uniform, and grooming standards.

• Participate in regular briefings and training sessions.

Work Conditions:

• Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Physically active role involving standing for long hours.
