Café is a fast-growing café focused on delivering high-quality food, great customer experience, and consistent service. We specialize in a diverse menu including continental, street food, beverages, and quick-service items, catering to both dine-in and online customers (Swiggy/Zomato).
We are looking for a hands-on, performance-driven Café Manager who can take full ownership of operations, team management, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day café operations
Ensure smooth kitchen and service coordination
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Monitor food quality, taste consistency, and presentation
2. Team Management
Supervise Chefs, helpers, billing staff, and service team
Create staff schedules and manage shift planning
Train team on SOPs, customer service, and upselling
Handle staff discipline, attendance, and performance tracking
3. Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive daily sales targets and improve average order value
Implement upselling strategies (combos, add-ons, offers)
Monitor online orders (Zomato/Swiggy) and improve ratings
Plan and execute local marketing activities (flyers, promotions)
4. Customer Experience
Ensure excellent customer service at all times
Handle customer complaints professionally
Build customer loyalty and repeat business
Monitor feedback and implement improvements
5. Inventory & Cost Control
Track daily stock usage and reduce wastage
Manage purchase planning and vendor coordination
Control food cost and maintain target margins
Conduct weekly stock audits
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Maintain daily sales reports and expense tracking
Monitor KPIs: sales, food cost, wastage, ratings
Share weekly performance reports with management
Suggest improvements for efficiency and growth
Report any complaints from customer or staff and control measure on daily basis
Key Skills Required
Strong leadership and team handling skills
Good understanding of café/QSR operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of inventory and cost control
Customer-focused mindset
Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems
Preferred Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience in cafés, restaurants, or QSR chains
Experience handling Swiggy/Zomato operations is a plus
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹25000– ₹30,000/month (based on experience)
