Key Result Areas (KRA) – Coffee Shop Manager1. Daily Operations Management
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the coffee shop.
Monitor opening and closing procedures.
Maintain service speed and operational efficiency.
Ensure proper coordination between counter staff, baristas, kitchen, and billing team.
Maintain cleanliness and ambience of the café.
2. Customer Experience & Service Quality
Deliver excellent customer service and hospitality.
Ensure customer complaints are resolved promptly.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and repeat visits.
Ensure staff maintains grooming, behaviour, and service etiquette.
Monitor customer feedback and online reviews.
3. Sales & Revenue Achievement
Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Increase average bill value through upselling and combo promotions.
Promote seasonal beverages, bakery items, and special offers.
Improve dine-in, takeaway, and delivery sales.
Monitor peak-hour business and maximize revenue opportunities.
4. Staff Supervision & Team Management
Supervise baristas, cashiers, stewards, and support staff.
Prepare duty rosters and manage shifts efficiently.
Conduct training on coffee preparation, customer handling, and SOPs.
Monitor employee discipline, attendance, and performance.
Build a motivated and customer-focused team environment.
5. Beverage & Food Quality Control
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of beverages and food items.
Monitor coffee brewing standards and recipe adherence.
Ensure freshness of bakery and food products.
Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
Maintain café presentation and display standards.
6. Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, bakery items, and consumables.
Minimize wastage and pilferage.
Conduct stock audits and maintain inventory records.
Control operational costs and food/beverage costs.
Coordinate timely procurement of supplies.
7. Hygiene & Food Safety Compliance
Ensure café hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety guidelines.
Monitor staff hygiene and grooming standards.
Ensure cleaning schedules are followed regularly.
Maintain pest control and safety procedures.
8. Cash Handling & Reporting
Monitor POS and billing operations.
Ensure daily cash reconciliation and deposit accuracy.
Track discounts, void bills, and complimentary items.
Prepare daily sales and operational MIS reports.
Maintain proper documentation and records.
9. Vendor & Supply Management
Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
Verify quality and quantity of received stock.
Maintain healthy vendor relationships.
Ensure uninterrupted availability of café essentials.
10. Brand Standards & Business Growth
Ensure café branding and service standards are maintained.
Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Maintain attractive visual merchandising and café ambience.
Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and profitability.
Ensure implementation of company SOPs and policies.
