About the Role
We are looking for a creative and hands-on Videographer & Video Editor who can independently manage the complete video production process — from planning and shooting to editing and delivering high-quality, social-media-ready content.
The ideal candidate should own and be comfortable operating their own professional camera and essential shooting equipment and should be capable of handling shoots independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Videography & Production
Plan and execute professional video shoots for social media, branding, marketing campaigns, events, interviews, corporate content and promotional videos.
Operate DSLR/Mirrorless/Cinema cameras and select appropriate lenses, settings and shooting profiles.
Capture both horizontal and vertical content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
Handle camera framing, composition, exposure, focus and camera movement.
Operate gimbals, tripods and other camera accessories to create smooth and professional footage.
Set up and operate lighting equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots.
Record high-quality audio using lapel, wireless and shotgun microphones.
Shoot founder/personal branding videos, interviews, testimonials, reels, promotional content and event coverage.
Suggest creative shots, angles, locations, B-roll and visual concepts.
2. Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos for social media, websites, advertisements and other marketing requirements.
Create Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and long-form videos.
Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, sound effects, graphics and basic motion graphics.
Perform basic colour correction/grading and audio enhancement.
Create engaging hooks, pacing and storytelling suitable for short-form content.
Resize and adapt videos according to different platform requirements.
Deliver multiple versions of content when required.
3. Content & Creative Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing and creative team to understand campaign objectives and content requirements.
Convert scripts, concepts and briefs into visually engaging content.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
Stay updated with current social media video trends, editing styles and content formats.
4. Equipment Management
Candidate must have their own camera and basic professional shooting equipment.
Maintain and properly handle personal camera equipment and accessories.
Ensure all equipment is ready and functional before shoots.
Safely manage and organise cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, lights, microphones, tripod/gimbal and other accessories.
Maintain proper backups and organisation of raw footage and project files.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of videography and camera operation
Good understanding of lighting, framing and composition
Hands-on experience with gimbals and professional camera equipment
Strong video editing skills
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro
Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is an advantage
Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and digital content
Strong visual storytelling and creative thinking
Ability to independently manage shoots
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
Degree/Diploma in Film Making, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Photography or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
0–2 years of experience in videography/video editing preferred.
Freshers with strong practical skills and an impressive portfolio can also apply.
Portfolio/Showreel is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate

The candidate should be comfortable travelling for shoots, working on-location and managing their own equipment.
