Video Editor Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, promotional content, and other branded media. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and produce engaging videos for social media platforms, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Create promotional videos, reels, shorts, advertisements, and corporate videos.
Trim footage, add transitions, effects, motion graphics, text, and music to enhance video quality.
Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and basic sound design.
Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to understand project requirements.
Organize and manage video assets and project files.
Stay updated with current video editing trends, social media formats, and platform specifications.
Ensure all videos maintain brand consistency and quality standards.
Deliver projects within agreed timelines while managing multiple assignments.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cap Cut, Filmora DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
Understanding of color grading, audio editing, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and export settings.
Strong creativity and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field.
1–3 years of professional video editing experience (Freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply).
Experience editing content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
Knowledge of AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage.
