Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can create engaging and professional video content for social media, brands, advertisements, and client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and brand content.

• Edit raw footage from photoshoots and video shoots into engaging final videos.

• Create creative cuts, transitions, text animations, and visual effects.

• Add subtitles, background music, sound effects, and voiceovers.

• Perform basic colour correction and colour grading.

• Edit videos according to the brand's style and requirements.

• Create videos in different formats, especially 9:16 for Instagram Reels.

• Follow current social media trends and create trendy and engaging edits.

• Make revisions according to client or team feedback.

• Coordinate with the shoot and creative team to understand editing requirements.

• Complete assigned projects within deadlines.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Knowledge of After Effects will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of Cap Cut or other video editing software.

• Good understanding of transitions, effects, text animation, and subtitles.

• Basic knowledge of colour correction and colour grading.

• Good understanding of music, beats, sound effects, and audio editing.

• Knowledge of speed ramping, masking, slow motion, and basic motion graphics.

• Creative thinking and good attention to detail.

• Ability to understand and follow creative briefs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in video editing will be preferred.

• Freshers with a strong portfolio/showreel can also apply.

• Candidate should have a good understanding of social media content and Reel trends.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• It is a Full Time Video Editor job for candidates with 0 - 1 years of experience.
