Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video, audio, and screen recordings into refined final cuts using Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Design, animate, and integrate motion graphics, visual effects, transitions, and titles with After Effects.

• Create video assets such as short clips, social media reels, product explainers, promo videos, demo videos, etc.

• Collaborate with content & marketing teams to understand messaging, style guidelines, and campaign goals.

• Add sound design, background music, voice overs, and audio leveling/mixing.

• Perform color correction, grading, and visual enhancements to improve the overall aesthetic.

• Ensure brand consistency in all video output (fonts, color palette, logo placement, etc.).

• Manage and maintain organized project files, export pipelines, and backups.

• Iterate based on feedback, manage multiple video projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

• Stay updated on video trends, formats for social platforms, and new techniques/tools.

Qualifications & Skills

Must Haves:

• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a video editor or motion graphics designer, with strong portfolio/demos.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• Strong sense of storytelling, timing, visual composition, and pacing.

• Experience in animation beyond templates (keyframing, expressions, motion graphics).

• Good audio editing basics (mixing, leveling, sound design).

• Skills in color correction and grading.

• Ability to work with creative direction and feedback, iterate fast.

• Attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
