We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Website Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of our company’s website(s). The ideal candidate will ensure the site is user-friendly, visually appealing, secure, and optimized for performance and search engines. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge, creative thinking, and project management skills.
Website Maintenance & Updates
Regularly update content, images, banners, and product/service details.
Ensure website functionality across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Perform routine backups and monitor uptime.
Content Management
Manage and publish content via CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, etc.).
Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to keep the site engaging and aligned with campaigns.
Performance Optimization
Monitor website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance.
Implement SEO best practices for better ranking and visibility.
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to track site traffic and performance.
Security & Compliance
Ensure website security through regular patches, plugin updates, and SSL monitoring.
Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.).
Project & Vendor Coordination
Work with developers, designers, and external vendors on new features or redesign projects.
Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for web projects.
Troubleshooting & Support
Identify and resolve technical issues (broken links, errors, downtime).
Provide website support to internal teams as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Digital Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Website Manager, Web Administrator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of CMS platforms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
Understanding of SEO, web analytics, and UX/UI best practices.
Familiarity with security protocols and hosting/server management.
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
CMS: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, or Magento.
Analytics: Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
SEO Tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz.
Design Tools: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Figma (basic familiarity).
