Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Video Editor with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in end-to-end video production workflows. The candidate will be responsible for handling video editing, motion graphics, sound design, platform optimization, and basic creative direction to deliver engaging visual content across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Post-Production

Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for YouTube, social media, ads, courses, and promotional content.

Perform trimming, sequencing, color correction, transitions, effects, and visual enhancements.

Ensure consistent storytelling, pacing, and brand alignment.

2. Motion Graphics & Visual Effects

Create basic motion graphics, titles, overlays, lower thirds, and intro/outro animations.

Integrate visual effects where required to improve engagement and professionalism.

3. Audio & Sound Design

Synchronize audio tracks, remove noise, and apply sound balancing.

Add background music, voice-overs, and sound effects appropriately.

4. Multi-Platform Optimization

Adapt videos for various formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, LinkedIn, Ads).

Optimize aspect ratios, resolution, duration, and compression for platform performance.

5. Content Collaboration

Work with content creators, marketing teams, and designers to understand video objectives.

Suggest creative improvements for storytelling and viewer retention.

6. Asset & File Management

Organize project files, assets, and exports following structured workflows.

Maintain version control and backup of video projects.

Required Skills

Minimum 1 year experience in video editing and post-production.

Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Knowledge on motion graphics and animation.

Understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates, and export settings.

Familiarity with social media video trends and editing styles.

Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition.

Preferred Skills

Thumbnail creation and basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Canva).

Experience with color grading and LUT workflows.

Knowledge of AI video tools and automation workflows.

Basic shooting or cinematography knowledge.
