About the Role

We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Video Editor who specializes in editing

short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media

platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling,

pacing, motion graphics, and current social media trends to create engaging, highperforming

videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook,

and LinkedIn.

• Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, animations, sound effects, and

background music.

• Create fast-paced, attention-grabbing edits that improve audience retention.

• Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and the marketing team to

bring creative ideas to life.

• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and client objectives.

• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos.

• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization.

• Stay updated with the latest editing styles, viral trends, and platform algorithms.

• Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.

• Organize and maintain project files efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing, preferably for social media.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

• Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations is

preferred.

• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
