Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing video footage to create high-quality, engaging visual content for various media platforms.Key Responsibilities:- Review and assemble all raw footage, ensuring that it meets the project's technical and creative requirements- Collaborate with the production team to understand the project's vision, goals, and objectives- Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer) to edit and assemble footage into a cohesive narrative- Apply visual effects, motion graphics, and sound design to enhance the video's overall aesthetic and emotional impact- Ensure that the edited video meets the project's technical specifications, including resolution, frame rate, and file format- Collaborate with the sound design team to ensure that the video's audio elements are balanced, clear, and effective- Work closely with the project's stakeholders to incorporate feedback and revisions, ensuring that the final product meets their expectations- Deliver high-quality, edited video files on time and within budget- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, technologies, and techniques to continuously improve skills and efficiency- Knowledge of color grading, color correction, and audio mixing principles.Requirements:- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, and timing- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams, stakeholders, and clients- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results
