Next-Level Video Editor (Storytelling + High-Impact Content) (Sanata Sanctuary) Overview We are looking for a next-level video editor who can transform raw footage into high-impact, scroll-stopping content. This role goes beyond basic cutting - we want someone who understands storytelling, pacing, visual psychology, and modern digital formats.

If you obsess over hook rates, retention curves, and cinematic storytelling, we want to work with you.

Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Storytelling Edit engaging videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and ads
Turn raw footage into compelling narratives
Craft strong hooks in the first 3–5 seconds
Maintain high audience retention through pacing and visual rhythm
Creative EnhancementAdd motion graphics, subtitles, sound design, and visual effects
Use b-roll, overlays, memes, and graphics to enhance storytelling
Color grade and enhance visual aesthetics
Design scroll-stopping thumbnails (optional but preferred)
Performance-Driven EditingEdit with a data mindset — understanding retention, watch time, and engagement
Optimize content formats for different platforms
Collaborate with marketing/content teams to improve video performance
Required SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
Strong understanding of story pacing and visual rhythm
Experience editing short-form viral content
Ability to add captions, transitions, motion graphics, and sound effects
Strong sense of timing, music, and emotional beats
Bonus Skills (Huge Plus)Motion graphics in Adobe After Effects
Thumbnail design in Adobe Photoshop
Knowledge of AI editing tools
Experience with YouTube & Instagram growth content
Familiarity with creator-style editing (MrBeast-style pacing, storytelling edits)
