Role Overview :

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content production team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, strong editing skills, and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Edit podcast episodes, interviews, reels, shorts, and promotional videos.

• Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality videos.

• Add transitions, graphics, motion elements, subtitles, music, and sound effects.

• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement.

• Create platform-specific edits optimized for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Collaborate with hosts, producers, and the creative team to deliver content aligned with the Odisha Talks brand.

• Maintain organized project files and manage multiple editing assignments within deadlines.

• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, storytelling techniques, and social media best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film, or a related field (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing (freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply).

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.

• Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience editing podcasts or interview-based content.

• Basic motion graphics and animation skills.

• Knowledge of camera workflows and audio synchronization.

• Familiarity with social media analytics and audience engagement trends.
