Department: Creative / Content Reports To: Creative Director / Content Manager Location: Janakpuri, New Delhi Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Working Days: Monday to Saturday | 2nd & 4th Saturday Off | All Sundays Off
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished product that matches our vision and is suitable for broadcasting, digital platforms, and social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, website, and other platforms
Trim, cut, and assemble footage to create compelling narratives
Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, and audio corrections
Apply color grading and color correction for visual consistency
Create and add motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects
Content Creation Support
Collaborate with the marketing and content team to understand video requirements and creative briefs
Work with videographers, photographers, and designers to ensure cohesive visual output
Edit promotional videos, product demos, testimonials, corporate films, and social media content
Graphics & Animation
Design basic motion graphics and animated text using After Effects or similar tools
Create engaging thumbnails, intros, and outros for YouTube and social content
Incorporate brand guidelines into all video content
File & Asset Management
Organize and maintain a library of raw footage, project files, and final exports
Export videos in appropriate formats and resolutions for various platforms
Manage deadlines and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
Quality Control
Review final edits for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency
Incorporate feedback from team members and make revisions as required
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Film Production, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field
1–3 years of hands-on experience in video editing (freshers with strong portfolio may be considered)
Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing skills across different content types
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (must-have)
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for color grading is preferred
Understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings
Basic knowledge of audio editing and mixing
Soft Skills
Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual aesthetics
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Good communication and ability to take creative direction
Attention to detail and a passion for creating great content
