Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can create engaging, high-quality video content for social media, digital marketing, and other promotional platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual composition, and current video trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, advertisements, and digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and marketing content.
- Edit raw footage, add transitions, effects, music, sound, subtitles, and graphics.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and creative teams to understand video requirements.
- Ensure videos are aligned with brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual quality.
- Create short-form and long-form video content as required.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions within deadlines.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, and formats.
- Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong video editing and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or similar editing tools.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, color correction, and audio editing.
- Good understanding of social media video formats and trends.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
Requirements
- Graduate/degree or diploma in Film, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Video Editor.
- Candidates should have a strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating their previous work.
- Immediate or short-notice candidates will be preferred.
