About the Role

We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Editor Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced digital marketing environment. You will work on various client projects, primarily focusing on short-form content for social media (Reels, Shorts, carousels) and longer promotional videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Editing: Assemble, cut, and edit raw footage into compelling, finished videos according to project specifications and creative direction.

• Social Media Focus: Create engaging short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) designed for maximum organic reach and impact.

• Graphics & Text: Add necessary motion graphics, lower-thirds, subtitles, and text overlays to enhance storytelling and clarity.

• Audio Management: Select and mix appropriate background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to match the video's tone.

• Review & Revisions: Incorporate feedback from the Content Manager and clients efficiently to deliver final, polished versions.

• Asset Management: Organize and maintain the video, audio, and graphic libraries for easy access.

• Idea Generation: Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm fresh and creative video concepts for social media campaigns.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency: Basic to intermediate proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro).

• Creative Eye: A strong understanding of modern visual trends, especially for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Pace & Rhythm: An ability to edit video to the beat of music and maintain a fast, engaging pace suitable for short-form content.

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of color grading, basic sound mixing, and different video formats/codecs.

• Work Ethic: Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.

• Portfolio: A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing work (student projects are welcome).
