Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to turn raw video and audio footage into high-quality content for digital and social media platforms. The role includes editing, adding graphics and music, colour correction, and collaborating with the marketing/creative team to deliver engaging videos that match our brand guidelines and project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into clear, compelling videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and websites.

• ​Review scripts, briefs, and shot lists to understand project objectives and narrative flow.

• Trim, sequence, and refine clips to ensure logical continuity, smooth transitions, and strong storytelling.

• Add music, voiceovers, subtitles, graphics, animations, and sound effects as needed.

• Apply colour correction and basic colour grading to maintain a consistent visual style.

• Optimise videos for various aspect ratios and formats (Reels, Shorts, stories, landscape, square, etc.).

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align videos with campaign goals and brand guidelines.

• Incorporate feedback and make revisions while meeting deadlines on multiple projects.

• Maintain an organised library of footage, project files, and exports for easy retrieval and access.

• Stay updated with video trends, editing styles, and new tools relevant to social and digital media.

​Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio/showreel of previous work.

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects or similar tools for motion graphics and simple animations.

• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail in cuts, transitions, and audio sync.

• Understanding of sound design basics, including audio cleanup and mixing for clear output.

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and work under tight deadlines.

• Good communication skills and openness to feedback and collaboration.

• A bachelor’s degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if skills and portfolio are strong.

• It is a Full Time Video Editor job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
