Position Overview

Delhi Chai Café is looking for a creative, innovative, passionate, and result-oriented Video Editor to create, manage, and publish engaging videos, reels, podcasts, and promotional content across major social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that enhances brand awareness, generates customer and franchise enquiries, and strengthens the company’s digital presence while maintaining consistency across all brand collaterals.

Key Responsibilities

·       Transform raw footage into polished and compelling video content.

·       Edit and assemble video clips with sound effects, background music, motion graphics, titles, and captions while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

·       Sync audio tracks, voiceovers, and background music to enhance the overall viewer experience.

·       Improve lighting, sound quality, colour grading, and audio levels to maintain broadcast-quality output.

·       Format and optimise videos for various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and websites.

·       Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and brand vision.

·       Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required by management and the creative team.

·       Upload and publish video content regularly across social media platforms and YouTube.

·       Maintain and organise video assets and archives for future use.

·       Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, social media trends, AI tools, and content formats.

·       Contribute ideas and inputs for the monthly content calendar and campaign planning.

Qualification & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Broadcasting, Communications, Visual Arts or related field. Professional certificate or Diploma in related field

• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as – Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, AI-based video editing tools

·        Knowledge of video compression methods, rendering formats, and platform-specific export settings.

·        2–4 years of professional experience in video editing and content production.

·        Strong storytelling skills and creative visual sense.

·        Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

·        Understanding of current social media trends, reels, shorts, and viral content formats.

·        Ability to communicate creative ideas effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.

·        Young, dynamic, innovative, and capable of bringing fresh ideas to the table.
