Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality content suitable for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, websites, and marketing campaigns. The role requires strong technical expertise, storytelling ability, and a passion for visual media.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into compelling video content for different platforms (social media, YouTube, ads, educational videos, etc.).

• Add music, sound effects, graphics, animations, and subtitles to enhance storytelling.

• Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.

• Ensure videos are optimized for different formats (landscape, portrait, reels, shorts, etc.).

• Manage video assets, maintain an organized file system, and ensure backups.

• Stay up-to-date with video editing trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh and innovative ideas.

• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects or similar) is a plus.

• Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Attention to detail and a strong creative mindset.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in editing educational, promotional, or social media content.

• Knowledge of color correction, grading, and audio editing.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Creative portfolio/reel demonstrating video editing skills.
