RESPONSIBILITIES
● Edit raw footage into polished videos for digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta ads, etc.)
● Create and apply transitions, titles, and lower-thirds that follow brand tone and aesthetic
● Add royalty-free or provided background music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance viewer experience
● Perform color correction and basic grading to maintain a high-quality visual output
● Work closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and account managers to meet campaign goals
● Collaborate with the social media and strategy teams to adapt content for various formats and resolutions
● Organize and archive media assets and project files efficiently in cloud storage or shared servers
● Stay updated with trends in visual storytelling, social-first content, and editing styles
● Ensure all outputs meet platform specifications, deadlines, and quality benchmarks
● Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to feedback-driven revisions
REQUIREMENTS OF SKILLS
● Proven work experience as a video editor or similar role in a creative/advertising/branding agency
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder (bonus: Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve)
● Good understanding of social media trends, platform-specific video formats, and digital storytelling
● Strong sense of pacing, transitions, and storytelling within short-form formats
● Familiarity with motion graphics, typography, and basic animation
● Knowledge of sound mixing and audio balancing
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond positively to feedback
● Good communication and team collaboration skills
● Degree/Diploma in Film, Communication, Media, Visual Arts, or a related field
