Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying creative editing techniques, and producing high-quality videos that align with our brand and storytelling goals. You will work closely with our marketing, social media, and production teams to deliver engaging visual content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished final products for various platforms (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, website).

• Add sound effects, music, voiceovers, text overlays, graphics, and transitions.

• Collaborate with creative team members, producers, and content creators to meet project goals and deadlines.

• Perform basic color correction, audio balancing, and sound syncing.

• Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and visual storytelling standards.

• Organize and maintain video assets and project files.

• Stay updated on video trends, social media formats, and editing techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (please include a portfolio or work samples).

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects (After Effects is a plus).

• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Attention to detail and a passion for creativity and visual media.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus):

• Experience with YouTube content editing or short-form video content (e.g., Reels, Shorts, TikTok).

• Knowledge of sound design, color grading, and animation.

• Familiarity with social media strategy or content marketing.

• Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.)
