Job Description

Book Your Brands is hiring a creative, skilled and tech-savvy Video Editor with expertise in AI-powered video editing and AI reels generation.

We are looking for someone who understands modern social media trends, can create high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and promotional videos, and knows how to use AI tools to produce engaging content faster and more efficiently.

The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable with traditional editing software and modern AI video generation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements, promotional videos and social media content.

• Generate AI-powered reels and videos using text-to-video, image-to-video and other generative AI tools.

• Use AI tools for automated editing, captions, transitions, background removal, voiceovers, visual effects and video enhancement.

• Create cinematic, engaging and trend-based videos using AI-generated visuals, motion graphics and creative storytelling.

• Convert raw footage, scripts and creative briefs into professional videos.

• Understand client branding, editing styles and content requirements.

• Add engaging hooks, captions, sound effects, B-roll, music and transitions to improve audience retention.

• Use AI workflows and automation to increase editing productivity while maintaining quality.

• Research trending reel formats, editing techniques and new AI video tools.

• Manage multiple client projects and consistently meet deadlines.

• Incorporate client feedback and deliver revisions efficiently.

• Maintain consistent visual quality across all deliverables.

• ChatGPT for creative scripting and prompting

AI Prompting Skills

• Ability to write effective prompts for AI video generation.

• Understanding of text-to-video and image-to-video workflows.

• Ability to maintain visual consistency across AI-generated scenes.

• Knowledge of AI-driven video enhancement and automation.

Performance Expectations

• Create approximately 8–10 quality reels per day, depending on complexity and project requirements.

• Maintain consistency in editing quality, branding and turnaround time.

• Use AI tools to improve productivity without compromising creative standards.

• Deliver projects within agreed deadlines.

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven creative agency.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media content trends.

• Practical experience using AI video generation or AI editing tools.

• Strong creative thinking, storytelling and visual design skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new AI technologies.

• Prior agency or digital marketing experience is an added advantage.

Important: This is strictly a Work From Office position. Candidates must have hands-on video editing skills and an interest in AI-generated content. One will have to come for an interview at the office and generate or edit a video as an assignment at the office in person.
