Role Overview

We’re looking for a Video Editor who knows how to turn ideas into tight, emotional, and entertaining edits. Someone who doesn’t just cut footage — but builds rhythm, tells stories, and adds personality to every frame.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for Barken’s digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Meta, etc.).

• Work closely with the creative and strategy teams to bring campaign ideas to life through compelling storytelling.

• Maintain the brand’s distinct tone — clean, humorous, and contemporary.

• Execute smooth pacing, crisp transitions, and engaging hooks that hold attention from the first second.

• Handle colour correction, sound design, and light motion graphics where needed.

• Stay updated with platform trends and editing styles — and know when not to follow them.

• Organize and manage project files to ensure efficient workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in video editing for brands. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve (After Effects knowledge is a plus).

• A strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and timing.

• Understanding of content formats and audience behaviour on social platforms.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with creative teams.

• A portfolio or showreel showcasing creative and impactful video work.
