ob Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting, social media, advertising, or film. You should be skilled in using video editing software and have a strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, training, social media, commercials, or film projects.

• Trim, cut, rearrange, and assemble footage logically and creatively.

• Add music, dialogues, graphics, voice-overs, and sound effects.

• Apply color correction, transitions, motion graphics, and other visual effects.

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to achieve desired visual style.

• Maintain video project libraries and archive footage properly.

• Ensure final videos meet brand guidelines and project specifications.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).

• Familiarity with sound editing and color grading.

• Strong attention to detail and creativity.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant editing work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Film Studies, Media, Communications, or a related field.

• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D software is a plus.

• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and exporting best practices.
