Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a passion for storytelling, astrology, and spiritual themes. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for editing high-quality videos that include horoscopes, planetary updates, birth chart explainers, and live astrology sessions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visuals, an understanding of astrology culture and trends, and the technical skills to bring our cosmic content to life across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit engaging astrology-related videos, including daily/weekly horoscopes, birth chart readings, full moon/retrograde explainers, and spiritual guidance clips.

• Add motion graphics, titles, transitions, and subtitles to enhance viewer experience.

• Repurpose long-form content (e.g., YouTube videos or live sessions) into short-form clips for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).

• Collaborate closely with astrologers, scriptwriters, voiceover artists, and the content team to align with astrology themes and brand aesthetics.

• Maintain consistency in style, branding, color grading, and tone across all video outputs.

• Keep up with astrology trends and audience interests to create culturally relevant edits.

• Organize and manage video assets, raw footage, and final deliverables.

• Ensure all videos are optimized for platform-specific formats and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in lifestyle, wellness, or spiritual industries.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.

• Experience with motion graphics and animation is a strong plus.

• Strong storytelling skills and visual creativity.

• Ability to edit for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, mobile apps).

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.

• Basic understanding of astrology (zodiac signs, moon phases, planets) or a willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in content marketing or spiritual/lifestyle media.

• Knowledge of YouTube SEO, thumbnails, and audience engagement strategies.

• Skills in sound design, color grading, and audio syncing.

• Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment.
