🧩 Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor adept at producing high-impact, short-form content for Instagram Reels and longer-form videos for YouTube. This is a long-term opportunity with significant scope to grow as we scale our digital presence.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form vertical videos (15–60 s) for Instagram Reels, optimizing pacing, hooks, transitions, captions, and visual effects .

• Edit long-form YouTube content (5–30 min), including clean cuts, subtitles, audio balancing, and thumbnail suggestions

• Repurpose content: Transform YouTube videos into Reels/Shorts, adapting style and format

• Design attention-grabbing thumbnails (YouTube) using Photoshop, Canva, or similar

• Stay on-trend: Apply up-to-date social media trends (music, hooks, styles)

• Manage deadlines: Organize and deliver multiple video projects on schedule

🎯 Required Qualifications

• Proven experience editing both short-form and long-form video content

• Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci

• Strong understanding of pace, hooks, visual storytelling, and on-platform optimization

• Ability to add styled captions, motion graphics, and color corrections upwork.com

• Excellent attention to detail, efficient multi-project management, and responsive communication

🎓 Preferred Skills

• Experience with instagram and youtube (After Effects or similar)

• Familiarity with YouTube SEO (titles, tags, thumbnails), thumbnails design, and analytics

• Knowledge of content planning tools or platforms (e.g., scheduling tools, analytics dashboards)
