Job Description

Socionaut Media is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Reel Video Editor & Shoot Intern who has a strong interest in creating and editing short-form social media content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

This is an in-office role designed for candidates who want hands-on exposure to real brand content, social media campaigns, creative work within a growing social media marketing agency.

Key Responsibilities

Edit engaging short-form videos and reels for Instagram and other social media platforms.
Work with raw footage, music, captions, transitions, and text overlays.
Ensure videos are fast-paced, visually engaging, and optimized for viewer retention.
Assist the team during content shoots and on-ground brand activities.
Follow brand guidelines while maintaining creative quality.
Make edits and revisions based on team feedback.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of short-form video editing and social media formats
Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, VN, Canva, Instagram, and Edits
Basic videography skills will be an added advantage
Good sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
Awareness of social media trends and reel formats
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Candidates who are familiar with these tools and skills will be preferred.
