About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and talented Freelance Portrait Photographer based in Surat, Gujarat to join our growing photography team. This role is ideal for photographers who enjoy working with families, children, and individuals while delivering high-quality professional portraits.

This is a flexible, project-based opportunity offering consistent assignments for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional portrait photography sessions at schools, studios, or on-location venues

• Set up and manage lighting equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality results

• Capture well-composed, sharp, and emotionally engaging images

• Guide clients during sessions to ensure comfortable and natural poses

• Follow brand guidelines and photography standards

• Deliver images within assigned deadlines

• Maintain and manage personal photography equipment

Required Skills & Experience

✅ Experience in portrait photography (studio, school, or family photography preferred)
✅ Strong understanding of lighting techniques (natural & artificial lighting)
✅ Own DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
✅ Basic lighting equipment preferred (flash, softbox, reflector, etc.)
✅ Good composition and attention to detail
✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
✅ Ability to work with children and families professionally
✅ Must be based in Surat or willing to travel locally

Preferred (Nice to Have)

⭐ Experience in school photography or event photography
⭐ Knowledge of Lightroom / Photoshop or similar editing software
⭐ Professional attitude and punctuality
⭐ Ability to handle multiple sessions in a day
