Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Photographer to join our team at [College Name]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of various events, faculty, students, and campus life. These photos will be used for marketing materials, social media, academic publications, and the college’s website. The photographer will work closely with the communications and media team to ensure that visual content aligns with the college's branding and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture professional and high-quality images at various events including seminars, conferences, workshops, academic ceremonies, cultural events, and daily campus life.

• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to produce compelling visual content for social media platforms, websites, and brochures.

• Ensure all photographs meet the college's standards and guidelines for quality and style.

• Edit and retouch photos to ensure they are suitable for different media formats.

• Maintain an organized archive of all photos for future use.

• Assist in video shoots and other multimedia content as required.

• Work closely with faculty, students, and event organizers to ensure timely delivery of photos and meet the requirements of different departments.

• Stay updated on the latest photography techniques, trends, and equipment to continually improve the quality of work.

• Attend and document college events during off-hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a photographer, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in event, portrait, and campus photography.

• Proficiency in using DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as well as photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through visuals.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational skills and a proactive attitude.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students effectively.

• Experience in videography is a plus.

• A degree or diploma in photography, media, or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory with relevant experience.
