Welding Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Trainer with hands-on expertise in Radiographic Testing (RT). The candidate will be responsible for training welders, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and imparting knowledge of welding techniques along with non-destructive testing methods, particularly RT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions for welders on various welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, etc.)

• Provide practical and theoretical training on welding techniques, safety practices, and quality standards

• Train candidates on Radiographic Testing (RT) principles, interpretation, and defect identification

• Develop training modules, manuals, and assessment tools

• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback for improvement

• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME, AWS, and ISO

• Demonstrate welding procedures and supervise hands-on practice

• Maintain training records and prepare reports

• Assist in certification preparation and qualification tests

• Promote workplace safety and ensure proper usage of PPE

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• Certification in Welding (AWS/ASME preferred)

• Certification or hands-on experience in Radiographic Testing (RT Level II preferred)

• Strong knowledge of welding defects and NDT methods

• Good communication and training skills

• Ability to handle classroom and workshop training environments

• It is a Full Time Trainer job for candidates with 6+ years of experience.
