Job Description: Welder Trainer

Project Brief

The Jindal Stainless Fabricator Training Programme is a short-term upskilling initiative designed to enhance the capabilities of fabricators working with metals, especially stainless steel. Delivered in partnership with Empower Pragati, this 4-hour training module combines theory and hands-on sessions covering stainless steel applications, tools, safety, and practical techniques like TIG welding. Trainers will engage with experienced fabricators and metalworkers to strengthen their technical knowledge and practical expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities

 Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for experienced fabricators.

 Deliver training on stainless steel applications, TIG welding, fabrication techniques, tools, and safety practices.

 Assess the trainees’ learning and provide constructive feedback.

 Ensure adherence to training objectives and maintain quality standards.

 Travel to multiple training locations across Uttar Pradesh as per project requirements.

 Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth execution of the training programme.

 Prepare and maintain training reports, attendance, and assessment records.

Qualification Required

 Engineer/Diploma in Mechanical, Material Engineering, or Metallurgy.

Eligibility Criteria

 3–4 years of relevant experience as a trainer in welding, fabrication, sheet metal works in stainless steel or allied industries.

 OR

 ITI certified professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant domain or skill training.
