Job Description

A Travel Sales Executive is responsible for selling travel-related products and services (such as tour packages, flights, hotels, and holiday plans) to customers, while providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Customer Acquisition

    • Promote and sell travel packages, flights, hotel bookings, and other travel services.

    • Identify potential customers through calls, emails, and walk-ins.

    • Achieve monthly or quarterly sales targets.

  2. Customer Consultation

    • Understand clients’ travel preferences, budget, and requirements.

    • Recommend suitable destinations, packages, and travel plans.

  3. Travel Planning & Booking

    • Arrange flight tickets, hotel reservations, visa assistance, and travel insurance.

    • Prepare customized itineraries for individuals or groups.

  4. Documentation & Coordination

    • Maintain booking records and customer databases.

    • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa agencies.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Sales and persuasion ability

  • Good knowledge of travel destinations and tourism industry

  • Customer service orientation

  • Ability to use booking systems and CRM tools

Qualification

  • 1–3 years’ experience in travel sales or travel agency operations, Vendor Management Domestic & International Sales. (often preferred).

  • Knowledge Travel Sales, Vendor Management.
